The Lion King

Johnnie Picking Out His Pumpkin

Well Halloween went just as fast as it came this year but we still tried to make it fun for Johnnie even though our schedules have been CRAZY lately. We didn't get the chance to make it to the pumpkin patch but we still picked up some pumpkins from the store and carved them with J-Bear. To be honest he didn't care at all about them and got cranky very quickly so he went down for a nap, but at least he was well rested for Trick-or-Treating.

You would never be able to tell from the pictures but he HATED his costume. He hated it with such a passion that if we showed him the hood to it he would start whining. I felt bad, like I was torturing him by making him wear it, but he looked so adorable in it I couldn't help myself. He looked like a walking stuffed animal. I even taught him how to "roar". It was more like a "rar" coming out of his mouth, I loved it, it was so cute. Thankfully, once we got him out into the commotion of all the other kids outside, he completely forgot all about his costume and didn't care that he had it on. He even rode in the car with it on the whole 45 minutes it takes to get to Grandma and Grandpa Dimakis' house!

Aw, he looks adorable! I was gonna do a lion or a teddy bear for Dean but then Devin found the cow. Dean also hated the hood at first. He got used to it by the end of the night. :o)
